About the Experience

When will Surfers Cove surf park open?

Portugal's first wave pool, featuring Wavegarden technology, is scheduled to open in late 2026.

Early-bird passes can be used for 6 months after the pool opens, which is scheduled for late 2026.

Disclaimer: In February 2027, early-bird passes can only be used during Carnival week.
What can I expect from this experience? Surfers Cove is Portugal's first wave pool. It will incorporate the latest Wavegarden technology Wavegarden, capable of creating waves for both beginners and high-performance surfers. You will be able to enjoy a surfing experience with waves that are perfect for your surfing level, safe, controlled, and memorable.
Where is Surfers Cove located? Surfers Cove will be located between Ericeira and Nazaré, 20 minutes from Peniche and 60 minutes from Lisbon International Airport. More specifically, it will be in Óbidos.

Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors? This experience takes place outdoors. It is a controlled, safe, and secure space. If, due to extreme weather conditions, the surfing sessions cannot take place, you will be notified by email at the address linked to your Fever account. If in doubt, remember to check your spam folder as well.
How long does the experience last? Each surfing session lasts 1 hour.
Will food and drinks be available for purchase on site? You can purchase food and drinks at Surf Village. We are happy to inform you that we cater to vegan and gluten-free options!
Is parking available? Yes, free parking will be available.
Will there be additional sessions? Packages and vouchers are available in limited quantities and sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I need to bring the appropriate equipment? You can bring your own equipment or, if you prefer, rent it directly at our facilities (wetsuit and/or surfboard).

About Tickets

Where can I buy tickets? On the Fever app on Google Play and the Apple Store Or on the Fever website
Can I buy tickets at the door? Early-bird passes will not be sold on site; they can only be purchased on the Fever app or on the Fever website.
When can I use my early-bird tickets and how do I reserve my session?

We will notify all early-bird ticket holders as soon as sessions are available for booking, which is expected to be at the end of 2026. Tickets can be used for a period of 6 months after the official opening of Surfers Cove.

To secure your spot, you will need to contact the Surfers Cove team directly and schedule your session. The exact dates for the start of reservations will be announced in the coming months.
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else? Yes, packs and sessions can be transferred to other people free of charge. It's as easy as clicking on "Transfer tickets" on your ticket in the Fever app. Contact us if you need additional help. Don't forget to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket? You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Don't forget to log in using the same login method you used to make the purchase.
You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do? You can view your ticket in the Fever app, in the tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account you used when purchasing the tickets. If you still can't find your ticket, please contact us.
Am I entitled to a refund? What is the exchange policy? The product is non-refundable, but transferable and shareable with family and friends (with a promo code for each voucher/session, which you can distribute/give to other people).
They cannot be exchanged for other products or services.

About Accessibility

Do I need to arrive at the beginning of my scheduled session? It is recommended that you arrive 30 minutes before your session time to check in, get equipped, and enjoy your session to the fullest.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed? Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the event venue, although we do accept service animals.
Is Surfers Cove accessible? Yes, the surfing session is held at an accessible location.
What items are prohibited during the experience? Can I smoke or vape? Items and use of the space are defined in the Surfers Cove usage regulations.
Are tickets for companions offered free of charge? No. There is a spectator pass available for purchase
Will there be changing rooms available on site? Yes, changing rooms are available on site
Can I take photos or record the experience? Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure you do not disturb other customers.
Is there a lost and found? Yes, you can ask our staff for help at the Surf Village reception.
Is there a minimum age requirement? Age: 7 and older
Will an audio guide be provided? Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide.
